1. Vagamon Kurisumala

Near the hills there is an ashram, home of Christian monks and a dairy farm managed by the monks

There is an entry fee of INR 10/-.
Try to visit this place between July to September, else green meadows will become yellow.

3. Vagamon Pine Forest

Lot of street vendors are available to purchase tea & chocolates.
The tall trees provide shade and even during peak summer, the place is very comfortable and as air conditioned climate.

4. Thangal Hill

A Muslim pilgrim center in Vagamon, Thangalpara is the ‘Dargah’ or the final resting place of the Sufi saint Hasrat Sheikh Fariduddin Baba, who reached Kerala 800 years ago.

5. The Pattumalai Church

This peaceful church, which is a great place to visit on the way to Thekkady from Alappuzha, is set in an unbelievable position on the top of a hill. It is surrounded by the rolling tea plantation of the Pattumalay Tea Estate, which just makes it the ideal place for photographs.

6. Vagamon Lake

Late n boating is something u should try @ Vagamon though it is not a natural lake. The view from boat is really mesmerising, u will feel relaxed once u do boating. Lake is surrounded by tea gardens that brings boating a memorable one.
Can’t compare this to Munnar or Ooty boating but worth trying as vagamon doesn’t have much to offer.

7. Vagamon Falls

Such a beautiful place blessed with natural greens. Very peaceful and calm. Very good to relax mind and body.

8. Mundakayam Ghat

Nice place for to make trip such a beautiful place is this. It’s good place for to be relax and enjoyment. And we are so happy with this place.

9. Vagamon Orchidarium and Floriculture Project

It was lovely visiting the place.
We stepped into this place during our trip to Vagmon.

Looking good.
People wishing to buy plants can buy them.
The cafeteria attached to the garden is a good plan e to relax and have some light refreshments

This place is worth a visit while at Vagmon.

10. Uluppuni Meadows

Visitors to Vagamon can definitely consider visiting Ulupunni. Located around 15 kms from Vagamon in Idukki district, Ulupunni is an ideal destination for off-roading. The main attraction here are the breathtaking view of meadows and the view of Kulamavu dam reservoir in the forest. It takes 6 kms of off roading to reach Ulupunni. Jeeps are available from Vagamon.
