Day 01 – Cochin to Thattekad

You are greeted on arrival at Cochin International Airport by The Travel Planners representative and thereafter transfer to Thattekad.On arrival check in to eco friendly resort , the perfectly blend into the forest, so you can enjoy your own private jungle and the spectacular view of the river Periyar.Afternoon you can visit Thattekad bird santury(optional).Evening you can do kayaking at the resort. kayaking trip amidst these great swathes of forests is an ideal sport for those inclined to be adventurous and explore the bio-diversity within these forests. You can also kayak to some of the villages upstream to get a first hand glimpse of life in a typical spice growing and agrarian village of Kerala.Overnight stay at Hornbill camp – Jungle view tent

Day 02 – Munnar

Today morning you can go for cycling to explore the spice growing villages, gentle mountain slopes, farms, forests at Thattekkad .After breakfast check out from the resort drive to Munnar (130 kms / 4 hrs) enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous Cheeyappara waterfalls,high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by and most of the area covered by Tata tea.On the way you can go for sightseeing of Munnar which includes Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional).Check in resort and evening relax. Overnight at Cuckmere Resort – Deluxe Room

Day 03 – Munnar

Today morning 07 am you can start half day adventure guided trekking around 10 km distance covered by walk through Tea Plantation ,Grassland and Rocks.Having break fast (Homemade food) at top of the mountain. The view of the local ladies plucking tea leaves from the estate in the region increases the fun element of this trek. This trek is extremely popular as it provides the maximum scenic beauty of this region and a great experience amidst the tea gardens.After back to Hotel.Rest and relaxation at the resort.Overnight stay at Cuckmere Resort – Deluxe Room

Day 04 – Thekkady

Morning after breakfast drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 kms / 3.5 hrs through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. Afternoon you can visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… Evening you can go for elephant safari(Optional).On way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Mountain Courtyard – Tamarind Room.

Day 05 – Thekkady

Today morning after the breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to tree house resort.check in to resort.After visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary and you can do half day Bamboo rafting and trekking programme through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve., a mosaic of habitats will be traversed before the party gets into rafts made of bamboos. By rafting you will get a panoramic view of forest-clad hills. Animals like elephant, gaur and sambar are sighted keeping close to the edges of the lake.Evening relaxation at the resort .Overnight stay at Carmila Heven – Tree House

Day 06 – Alleppey Houseboat

Today morning after breakfast Proceed to Alleppey(160 kms/4 hrs 30 minute drive), Known as the Venice of the East. On arrival check into a traditional Houseboat of Kerala Style and cruise through the backwaters. (Traditional Kerala food will be served). The houseboats are giant country Crafts, measuring up to 80 feet length. It looks great skill and meticulousness to construct these giants by tying huge planks of jack wood together, without the use of a single nail. Today these are the most exciting tourism product in India, which usually has one or two bath rooms, an open lounge, deck, kitchenette and crew comprising oarsmen and a cook. Day 07 – Cherai

Today Morning after breakfast disembark houseboat and transfer you to ( 2 .5 hrs drive), enriched with rich Greenery of Coconut Palms and laced with golden sands. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at Sea Lagoon – Heritage Grande

Day 08 – Departure

Morning after breakfast transfer to Cochin Airport or Railway station for the onward Journey. (If your departure flight is in the evening you can do Cochin sightseeing. (Optional))
